Speaker: Candyce Grisham - "My Journey with the Dresden Block"
Candyce has been fascinated with fabric, sewing, and quilting since the age of nine. She taught herself to quilt from a book and cardboard templates. She loves using fabrics, themes and color from nature, but leans more and more to bright fabrics with prints.She dabbles in fiber art, challenges, machine quilting, and modern quilting. She loves it all!She has taught quilting for 20 years. She published her first book in 2015. She is a Missouri native.Come join Candyce for her journey with the Dresden block into the Modern quilt world, art quilts and publishing. How do you go from a quilt you made to a pattern to a book?
